Google Acquires Data Visualization Technology is the news from Google systems. Google collects a lot of data and for better utilization,i.e. to mine the data and visualize results there must be a good tool. The tool is Trendalyzer and its from Gapminder, an organization from Sweden.
Gapminder make the data more accessible and easier to use for instant visual analysis. The presentation from gapminder to google a year ago is in googleplex.
Marissa Mayer from Google says,
“Gathering data and creating useful statistics is an arduous job that often goes unrecognized. We hope to provide the resources necessary to bring such work to its deserved wider audience by improving and expanding Trendalyzer and making it freely available to any and all users capable of thinking outside the X and Y axes,”
Converting boring numbers into interactive animations, the great job done by the Trendalyzer software is really amazing. This would make statistics more intresting. We shall expect Google making wonders out of it.
