Sankranthi, is the festival celebrated in Andhra Pradesh, Maharastra and Karnataka. This also called as Lohri in northern parts of India. Through this festival the farmers offer their prayers to the Surya, the Sun God. This can even be considered as the Thanks Giving Day. It is from this day onwards, the Sun would move towards north indicating the start of the summer season.

It’s called Pongal in Tamilnadu. Pongal is a four-day festival. The first day is Bhogi, where people shed off their old things (cloths, mat, etc.,) and burn them. The second day is the Pongal, where people offer their prayers and thank the Sun God, Surya. The third day is the Mattu Pongal, where competition to control the bulls were held. The fourth and the last day is Kanuma Pongal, where people meet their relatives, friends and go out to beaches, cinema, etc.,
Wishing you all a Happy Sankranthi.

Through it’s recent announcement of iPhone by Apple Inc., it has set a new standards to both the Internet as well as the age-old mobile phone industry.
The multi-touch technology introduced along with the iPhone in one of the major break through in user interaction devices. The full fledged version of the Safari browser sitting on the iPhone makes the internet browsing a real feel on parlance to the computer browsing without any loss of data or image. And this has put a full stop to all the new R&Ds related to the mobile browsing and mobile SEO. The most impressive of all is the news that Apple Inc has patented more than 200 patents related to iPhone to protect itself. After all this, one would say - iPhones - Smart Phone and the ‘real’ Reality Acquisition Devices.

Major search engines calculate the number of inbound and outbound links of a site. The reciprocal links can do some wonders in the site ranking in search engines. A website links to other sites and vice versa is known as reciprocal links.
Be careful to link with other websites. The relavancy of content is the most important factor to be considered. Don’t be narrow and be more eager to move on increasing the links. Though its important the quality of the site matters you a lot. The page rank, content relevancy, theme of the site are to be noticed when moving to reciprocal links.
Links can also be given without relavancy in content but set rel=”nofollow” in anchor tag so that the search engine will note it as irrelevant site. This just increases the count of links and no value will be added out of it. So rank better with links to more content relevant sites.
